About this opportunity:The Manager – Governance, Compliance & Program Management (Managed Services Domain) is responsible for developing governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations, and managing large-scale managed services programs. This role will provide oversight of governance, compliance, and risk frameworks while ensuring program objectives align with customer requirements, contractual SLAs, and Ericsson’s business strategy.This position will work closely with Service Delivery, Legal, Finance, Risk, and Customer Operations teams to monitor adherence to contracts, regulatory policies, risk mitigation, and operational excellence. The role will also ensure the effective management of scope, resources, risk, and service level governance for telecom operations outsourcing engagements.What you will do:Governance & Compliance ManagementDevelop, implement, and enforce governance frameworks to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, industry standards (e.g., ITIL, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, GDPR), and Ericsson’s internal policies.Monitor and ensure adherence to contractual SLAs, KPIs, and service delivery obligations under managed services agreements with telecom operators.Conduct periodic compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential breaches, inefficiencies, or non-compliance issues.Implement telecom-specific governance best practices to enhance service assurance, operational integrity, and regulatory compliance.Liaise with legal and regulatory teams to stay updated on telecom industry compliance requirements (e.g., TRAI, FCC, GDPR, Data Privacy Acts).Drive continuous improvement initiatives for compliance processes and governance models.Ensure third-party vendors comply with Ericsson’s governance framework when involved in managed services operations.Program and Scope ManagementLead and oversee managed services transformation programs, ensuring compliance with governance structures and customer expectations.Define and control program scope, ensuring delivery within budget, timeline, and quality parameters.Establish structured program management methodologies (Agile, SAFe, PMP) to manage telecom projects effectively.Stakeholder & Vendor ManagementCoordinate with telecom operators, regulatory authorities, and Ericsson’s internal teams to align governance and compliance policies with operational execution.Work closely with service delivery managers, finance teams, and legal teams to resolve compliance issues and program risks.Risk & Performance MonitoringDevelop and maintain risk registers, ensuring continuous monitoring and mitigation of compliance and operational risks.Ensure performance governance is in place, with adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics.The skills you bring:Proven experience in managing telecom managed services governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.Strong understanding of telecom regulations, including data privacy laws, cybersecurity standards, and telecom operational compliance requirements.Expertise in managed services outsourcing governance, contract compliance, SLA management, and service performance monitoring.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Business Administration, IT Governance, Compliance, or a related field.10-15 years of experience in Governance, Compliance, or Program Management within Managed Services/Telecom industry.Proficiency in telecom industry standards: ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and SAFe Agile methodologies.Why join Ericsson?At Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
